Joblink Plus staff will host community barbecues on Friday March 10 to provide an easy way for employers to hear about all the incentives available when employing a registered job seeker, while raising funds for cancer research. Full time sites across rural and regional NSW are getting behind the BarbeCURE cause. BarbeCURE is a new national awareness and fundraising initiative aimed at inspiring all Australians to help fund a cure for cancer, one BarbeCURE at a time.

It’s a very simple idea and one that every Aussie can get behind because we all love BBQs. What could be better than an Aussie BBQ that connects small business with resources and support? As well as coming along for a delicious BBQ lunch for a great cause, Joblink Plus staff will be available to tell businesses about all the financial incentives they can access when employing a registered job seeker.

With recent statistics showing an alarming trend for unemployment in regional NSW, there’s no better time to come together as a community and talk solutions.
