2,400 senior school students from across the New England North West poured into the Tamworth Regional Entertainment and Conference Centre (TRECC) on Wednesday for the 12th annual Regional Career Expo.

98 exhibitors provided interactive displays and information packs to students looking for career options as well as further education and training.

Wyona McAuliffe and Freyja Lacey, Year 12 from New England Girls School gather information on Universities. The girls are planning a gap year next year before they head to uni.

Pippi Wells and Julia Scott, Year 10, Calrossy Anglican School. "There are so many good uni's here and a lot of colleges too. It's great we are talking to a lot of people and getting some good ideas for when we finish school."
