An initiative of the NSW Government, the Youth Employment Program (YEP) is helping young people up to the age of 24 years connect with services, get the right training and find jobs.

YEP is a fully-funded and flexible initiative from the Department of Industry and delivered by Joblink Plus, designed to provide young people aged 15 – 24 with the support and skills to overcome barriers to employment. Intended to complement rather than duplicate existing Commonwealth services, YEP is designed for young people who aren't getting any or enough support from Commonwealth programs. By connecting eligible young people with training, support, and jobs, they will gain skills and experience that will improve their long-term job and socioeconomic prospects. YEP aims to increase participation of young people aged 15 – 24 in the labour market, as well as reduce the long-term effects of unemployment for individuals and their communities.
