Joblink Plus is committed to being an active and contributing member of our communities and collaborating with organisations who share our values. Below are just a few...
Through Joblink Plus' funding, Youth InSearch is able to provide more young people with access to camps and mentoring, including transport to the camps in the New England region. In addition, Youth InSearch utilises our offices throughout regional NSW, providing friendly referral pathways for young people who need help.
Dedicated local lobbying from the North West branch of the NSW Cancer Council resulted in Joblink Plus funding the salary for a new position with Hunter New England Health. Along with donations to the local Wig Library and cancer support groups, we're proud to be part of something that provides such tangible support to community members.
We're committed to amplifying the voices of Australia's First Nations wherever we can. One such program that promotes culturally based learning in Tamworth is the Gomeroi Culture Academy. The GCA is designed for young Aboriginal school students who are demonstrating personal leadership in their community. With dedicated mentoring, learning on country and strong partnerships with schools, the students go from strength to strength.
