A Working Environment While You Train - Preparing you to use your skills in a workplace

Joblink Plus Work Integrated Social Enterprises (WISE) exist to provide employment, or pathways to employment, for people who experience disadvantages in traditional labour markets. Social Enterprises are, by definition, for purpose over profit and exist to do good in the community. They seek to directly address the problem of ‘no job without experience, no experience without a job’ by providing a safe, secure learning-focused place to get started in work, or in a new kind of work.

All Joblink Plus Social Enterprises integrate nationally accredited vocational training, so participants gain experience and a qualification at the same time. Participants also grow in confidence, and are part of something great in their community.

We have 4 Social Enterprises in Joblink Plus: The Deck Café, 2340 Barber Shop, Connections Cafe and Heemskerk’s Nursery. All are in Tamworth, and we’re always looking for new opportunities across our footprint. Check out the awesome work of our social enterprises at the links below.
